The Floating City. City of Small Canyons. City of Glass.

Campanile di San Marco...from the ferry.
Il Campanile, up close.
That Basilica. Starry-eyed tourists.
The "street" my hotel is on. Grafitti is Italian for "little graphs"
My hotel lobby. Unphotographically lovely chandeliers.
A high-end eyeglass store across the street,
no bigger than a closet.

Around the corner: the door to my apartment, on the left.
Typical, but ridiculously romantic bridge where that street crosses a canal.

Hotel Danielli chandelier

A whole herd of them
Waiting on a friend...oh, to stay here!

Venice is famous for floors, too.

So much art everywhere, it almost hurts the eyes.

Kinky glass

Random pizzeria

Gondolas waking up in the morning as I leave
